The Cape Town Book Fair is gearing up to provide the biggest and most exciting book fair in southern Africa.
The fair opens on Saturday 14 June at 10am to the public and closes at 6pm. On the 15th and 16th of June it opens at 10am to 6pm, and on Tuesday 17th June opens at 10am and closes at 5pm.
Last year over 50 000 book lovers poured through the doors of the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
This year there will be a host of events featuring author appearances, a full programme of debates with focus on The Political Book, Children's Books, Green Literature, and Romance writing.
South African and overseas publishers will be at the fair, and there will be a literary theatre area where well-known book personalities will lead discussions.
Entrance to the Book Fair will costs R40 a day for adults, pensioners gain entry for R15 a day, and children accompanied by adults are free of admission as are students with valid student cards.
